Composing Projects

  • My new double concerto for percussion for Ed Harrison of the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Vadim Karpinos of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra with the Chicago College of Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra premiered on February 5, 2024. You can check it out HERE.
  • I am also working on my next album of original music that I’m releasing one song at a time each month. Alphabet will be available on streaming platforms in the winter of 2023, but for now you can listen on YouTube.
  • Moonshot for orchestra is coming soon!

Film & Media

  • Check out “Jordan Black:SKETCH Symbol” Season 2! I’m writing music for the show including episode 1!
  • I’m the Lead Audio for Ore Industries on their game Ira, Act I: Pilgrimage. This game is being made in Unreal Engine and I am doing the implementation in addition to sound design and additional music.
  • Strange Creatures came out in November! You can watch the full series HERE. I composed music for the show as well as the title music.
  • Two more short films I’m scoring are scheduled for release this year.

Arts Management & Consulting

  • I am now managing the Chicago Media Composers & Lyricists, a group focused on supporting Chicago & midwest-based media composers and songwriters. We’ve been hosting monthly events around Chicago with lots more to come!
  • I am still the Executive Director of the Hyde Park Youth Symphony where I manage operations, fundraising, marketing, and more!
  • In the fall of 2023 I was asked to serve as Executive Director for the Ear Taxi Festival 2025, Chicago’s major contemporary music festival.
  • Since 2018 I’ve been serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Council of Orchestras.
