The album is an emotional sonic journey inviting the listener to reflect on the past two years of experiences. Inspired by the loss of loved ones, divorce, job loss, the continued fight for social justice, and the Covid-19 pandemic all in 2020, the music examines our relationships with the past, ourselves, our community, our fears, and our hopes.

Tim Corpus is a composer with a genuine lyric impulse. He writes music that is at the same time challenging and appealing - which should be the ideal of any composer. He has a wonderful ear for sound and for shape. This is a composer with a real and important voice.
