MMXX Release Date Announced

MMXX will be available for pre-sale on July 30, 2021 exclusively on bandcamp.

Over a year of writing, recording, and producing was spent to make this album. It’s an emotional sonic journey inviting us all to reflect on the past two years of experiences. Inspired by personal accounts and experiences in 2020, the music examines our relationships with the past, ourselves, our community, our fears, and our hopes.

The project was supported by the ChicagoDCASE and features solos by incredible Chicago-based musicians: Chris Davis, Alyssa Arrigo, Matthew Bronstein, Timothy Archbold, and Derek Fitting.

You heard a first glimpse in “A is for Angela” in early 2021, now hear the full-length September 10th. MMXX will be for sale in digital and physical format as well as streaming everywhere this fall.

Tim Corpus is a composer with a genuine lyric impulse. He writes music that is at the same time challenging and appealing - which should be the ideal of any composer. He has a wonderful ear for sound and for shape. This is a composer with a real and important voice.
