Attending the 6th SCL Awards

Thanks to the Society of Composers & Lyricists for an awesome awards celebration last week. I’m always pretty bad about taking pictures at events, but did my best to capture the fun of a whirlwind few days. 🛫🌆🌃🌇🛬 Not pictured are a lot more laughs, whiskeys with friends, work meetings, and hours on a laptop keeping up with work. 😴

It was such a great experience and inspiring time to be surrounded by my musical heroes and friends. 🎶🎶 Congratulations to all the amazing nominees and winners who breath life into the games, shows, and films we all love. It’s an honor to be part of this community. 🏆Composers Supporting Composers🏆

Tim Corpus is a composer with a genuine lyric impulse. He writes music that is at the same time challenging and appealing - which should be the ideal of any composer. He has a wonderful ear for sound and for shape. This is a composer with a real and important voice.
