New Music from 2021

Over the past few months I’ve been doing a lot of video work. Some has been editing videos for different organizations, but also quite a few of my own. The Ultimate Guide to Touch OSC has grown quite a bit to 9 videos about the topic. The channel and topics continue to grow and I’ll be releasing those weekly. I also composed two short scores for these short film competitions, the Hans Zimmer scoring challenge with Spitfire Audio and “The Lost Piano” scoring competition with Westwood Audio. The scores were a nice break for me to work on and honestly a very enjoyable process. I decided to go with a more modern sound with “The Lost Piano”, but for the Spitfire Audio challenge I really wanted to write a large orchestra score similar to the first Planet Earth.

There’s a lot of exciting stuff coming in 2022 that I can’t wait to announce soon, but in the meantime, check out some of these latest videos.

Tim Corpus is a composer with a genuine lyric impulse. He writes music that is at the same time challenging and appealing - which should be the ideal of any composer. He has a wonderful ear for sound and for shape. This is a composer with a real and important voice.
