Tickets on Sale for Chicago Symphony Orchestra performance of the “Great Lake Concerto”

Tickets are now available for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s performance of my “Great Lake Concerto’s 3rd Movement” on July 25th at Ravinia Festival.

The piece will be conducted by Chief Conductor and Breaking Barriers co-curator Marin Alsop with soloists Ed Harrison (Lyric Opera of Chicago) and Vadim Karpinos (Chicago Symphony Orchestra).

This will be the professional premiere of the concerto and my first performance by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Tim Corpus is a composer with a genuine lyric impulse. He writes music that is at the same time challenging and appealing - which should be the ideal of any composer. He has a wonderful ear for sound and for shape. This is a composer with a real and important voice.
