Producing “Meet the Symphony” for the Hyde Park Youth Symphony

Congratulations to the team at the Hyde Park Youth Symphony on a terrific event last night! I carted my desktop (which is definitely not a mobile device) along with lights, recording gear, camera gear, and more all for the production of “M​​eet the Symphony!”, a special fall 🍂 fundraiser for the youth orchestra programs. 🎶

I do a lot of work with arts non-profits and this is definitely one of my favorites. Don’t worry if you missed it, you can still catch the broadcast on the Hyde Park Youth Symphony’s YouTube channel. 😜

So go watch some great performances by these talented kids and if you’re so moved, you can support the organization and ensure that there are accessible after school music programs for kids on the south side of Chicago. 🥁🎻🎺🎷

Tim Corpus is a composer with a genuine lyric impulse. He writes music that is at the same time challenging and appealing - which should be the ideal of any composer. He has a wonderful ear for sound and for shape. This is a composer with a real and important voice.
