New Music and Projects for 2022
The beginning of the year has been quite busy with events, arts management stuff, and more composing!
I’ve been working with Lake Forest High School orchestras as a guest conductor and the top group is going to be performing my piece “Breath” in March. I can’t believe this is the 10th anniversary of this piece! It’s been so fun to work with the kids on their music and also this piece again. It’s been so long since I’ve been able to work with groups like this. Thanks Covid.
The newest piece of music I’ve released is this score to the short film Songe for the Montreal Film Composition Competition. It’s a great little short with some interesting moments in it. Very appreciative to the team at the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue for making this happen.
Lastly there are some other exciting projects coming up for this year, including more films, music for dance, a musical, and live performances that I can’t wait to share with you. All in due time I guess.
The last thing I wanted to highlight isn’t really music exactly, but music production. I’m still doing lots of tutorial videos on YouTube about working with TouchOSC and I’ve gotten some requests to discuss other technology as well. So go subscribe to the channel so you can stay up-to-date with those releases. The upcoming additional software include Finale, OBS, Unity, Unreal Engine, and more.
Then, for my Arts Management friends, I got a request to do some videos about Google Docs, Excel, OBS, and much more.
Stay tuned!
