A New Year

I’ve never been great at keeping a blog going. I built my first website years and years ago and just never got around to it. There was a year, probably 2016, where I had probably 12 posts in the year, so that was pretty successful for me. But here in 2020, one of my new goals is to use this site to it’s fullest and write more. I spend a lot of time commuting via train, and so I am scheduling in my calendar days and times to write.

In addition to my writing, this site will be a destination for resources in the arts. I’ve spent a lot of time building up resources, music, and other experiences that I now want to share. From arts management templates and designs to my work on composing for film, classical, and pop, I’m going to display a lot more here.

I built this website almost a year ago! I like the design, it’s clean, it’s different than what I had before, and it’s practical. But I never used it well. I will have a number of different resources shared on here soon, so stay tuned for a whole new website with a lot more content.

Oh and Happy New Year.

Tim Corpus is a composer with a genuine lyric impulse. He writes music that is at the same time challenging and appealing - which should be the ideal of any composer. He has a wonderful ear for sound and for shape. This is a composer with a real and important voice.
